2024 World Women's Playoff Matchups

The World Women's Playoff Matchups are scheduled for Saturday. The final standings for the qualification and semifinal matches were established on Friday, the final day of round-robin play, after all six play-off qualification spots were already set on Thursday.

Italy defeated Japan 10-8 in their evening match, bouncing back from their defeat to Switzerland. They concluded with the same 10-2 record as Switzerland thanks to these outcomes.

Korea had a 10-2 record as well, having defeated Denmark 9-5 before to their win over Canada. However, they suffered defeats to Switzerland and Italy, resulting in their fourth-place finish.

Following their defeat by Switzerland, Sweden finished the round robin in fifth position, while Denmark came in sixth.

Switzerland will be waiting for the winner of Italy versus Denmark on Saturday, while Canada will play the losers of Korea versus Sweden in the semi-final. The start times of both qualification matches are 11:00.
